Traffic & Transport Impact Assessment for Development

Developments generate traffic; councils & governments require evidence that impacts are manageable.

What We Do

Traffic impact assessments, access design, intersection capacity, pedestrian / cycling consideration, oversize vehicle routing where needed.

Who It's For

Commercial or residential developers, mixed use, industrial estates.

Outcomes

Approvals obtained without heavy conditions; traffic design that avoids costly modifications later; minimized community or local road disruption.

Project Delivery & HSEQ Management

Even with good design & approvals, delivery can be derailed by cost blowouts, poor safety or environmental issues.

What We Do

Procurement, contractor management, construction oversight, safety and environmental compliance, quality management, schedule monitoring.

Who It's For

Developers, builders, private sector clients.

Outcomes

Projects delivered on time and quality; compliance with environmental / safety regulations; better cost control; reputation protection.

Subdivision & Civil Engineering Design

Proper design ensures legal compliance, safe & functional subdivision layouts, roads, services etc. Bad design leads to rework, delays, extra costs.

What We Do

Detailed subdivision plans, local road designs, stormwater & drainage, WSUD, water & sewer infrastructure, utility pit & pipe networks, telecommunication infrastructure layouts.

Who It's For

Developers, private landowners, residential or industrial subdivisions.

Outcomes

Subdivisions that meet or exceed regulatory standards; reduced risk of costly redesigns; better resale or use of subdivided land.

Permitting & Regulatory Approvals

Multiple layers of approvals (local council, state government, utilities, environmental) can slow or stop projects. Getting this right is essential.

What We Do

Managing DA / construction / subdivision / compliance certificates; liaison with councils, state agencies; preparing documentation; managing approval timelines.

Who It's For

Developers, mixed-use projects, anyone needing land use changes.

Outcomes

Quicker permit approvals; fewer delays; less risk of rejection; smoother handover to construction.

Feasibility & Concept Planning

Early analysis of whether a piece of land is suitable (infrastructure access, cost, environmental & regulatory constraints) saves huge risk and cost if problems are spotted early.

What We Do

Concept design, site constraints mapping, cost estimating, infrastructure capacity checks (utilities, roads, drainage), environmental & flood risk assessments.

Who It's For

Property developers, commercial developers, landowners.

Outcomes

Improved certainty around site viability; fewer surprises; better budgeting; faster development path.

How can we help?

Our core specialty is managing risks for developers including in:

  • Concept planning and development feasibility and cost estimates. Contact us very early in a project for help identifying infrastructure constraints which may reduce its feasibility.
  • Navigating the planning permit and development approvals process, including construction, works, subdivision and compliance certificates required before subdivisions can be registered or buildings occupied. Our staff have worked for numerous Councils and State Government agencies administering this process across multiple interstate jurisdictions, so we know what works and what doesn’t.
  • Completing detailed engineering designs for highway upgrades, local roads, subdivisions and Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD, including stormwater drainage) requirements.

We’re also experienced with:

  • Construction procurement and project management, including management of cost, schedule, Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) risks.
  • Design of water supply, sewerage and telecommunications pit and pipe networks.
